2/12/2017 – This is one of my favorite restaurants on Worcester. If you like spicy, try the Super Mala. It’s not as strong as you may think and the flavor is incredible
1/6/2017 – I love the hot pot! In the summer their salt and pepper chicken wings with chicken fried rice are my go to. Every other time I go with the two for $45 and choose the Tom yum and chicken backbone broths.
The service was fantastic! Fast drinks ($5 mai tais are great!), food came out fast and everything was delicious! Can’t wait for our next visit or my call for delivery!
12/3/2016 – This is a fantastic place for dining! I really love the food here, it is fresh and delicious… Hotpot is definitely the best food in winter. The waiters are also really nice. I especially recommend the bubble tea.
11/26/2016 – Favorite place to go for hotpot in Worcester area. Very nice ingredient selection for hotpot buffet. Kids love the Boba teas!
11/18/2016 – The food is very good. This is the best restaurant in Worcester! I like the food so much. The service is fabulous and the environment is perfect!
10/20/2016 – Love the hotpot, huge variety of broths and ingredients, all prepared very fresh. It’s a bit pricey if you’re on a budget, but if you go for the all-you-can eat during the weekdays it’s not too bad. Wilson, the owner, is very friendly and always comes over to say hi and see how everything is going. Highly recommended!
7/10/2016 – Food and service was excellent. We had an egg roll and spring rolls to split which was delicious and then the baked spicy ribs and Singapore noodles. To die for. Ribs were very meaty and flavorful and the noodles were full of curry flavor. Waitress was very attentive and super nice. Will definitely be back!!
3/5/2016 – Stumbled upon this place trying to find somewhere to eat before the show. Never had hot pots before and can tell you without a doubt it was outstanding. Fresh ingredients and overwhelming choices to add. We sat at the bar and our bartender provided exceptional service. She explained the hot pot experience since we had never had one before and yes make some kickass drinks. Will most definitely go back soon.
2/14/2016 – BEST HOTPOT I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO!!!!! I highly recommend this place because; very modern upscale interior design, their chopsticks were custom made for the chuan shabu (not like those wooden ones) the service was very fast and the food was presented very very well, the prices were unbeatable very affordable, and my waitress especially Ashley was a very young sweet girl that checked on us regularly and gave us everything we needed!!!!! Absolutely loved it i would drive from Quincy just to eat their hotpot!!! And their crab rangoons were mouthwatering
March 13, 2017 – Exceptional every time I go…..it is my neighborhood hot pot restaurant
February 26, 2017 – My boyfriend and I like to frequent Hot Pot locations when we find them. This was by far the best. The waitress was very accommodating to my lengthy list of severe food allergies. The atmosphere was classy, comfortable and extremely clean. The service was excellent, food portions (we had the dinner for 2) was perfect, and the food beautifully displayed, delicious and fresh. My only complaint was that they add 18% gratuity on to the bill, even for 2 people. I’m very observant, and did not notice it written anywhere on the menu, or on any signs. We were going to tip 20% regardless, but had I not carefully looked at the bill, my boyfriend would have tipped twice.
Hot Pot is not an inexpensive dining experience anywhere, and I have to say this was by far the best value, all things taken into consideration. I love Hot Pot Buffet in Boston, however it’s always busy, loud, and does not have a full bar or any of the atmosphere that this little hidden gem has. I can’t wait to go back.
February 18, 2017 – This place is excellent & the hostesses are very friendly, and attentive. The hot pot is delicious & you get to check off the vegetables & seafood that you want to put in it. They serve a variety of appetizers & their drinks are made to perfection. Very family, friendly, and welcoming environment. I am going to make it a family tradition, as well tell all my family & friends about it.
January 30, 2017 – Nice atmosphere, good drinks, nice portions and the salt and pepper wings are to die for!
January 29, 2017 – My wife is a Chinese girl from Congqing in US for 5 years permanent (Hot Pot in Sichuan Province is like nowhere else in the world) and if SHE loves Chuan Shabu then I can PROMISE you it is authentic. We both loved it.
January 4, 2017 – We went it was great we liked it we’d def go back again someday I’d like to do hot pot at home like we do fondu but when went we had no issues with this place what so ever the atomosohere in there is terrific it’s very classy/nicely decorated service was great the place is really clean this is a place that will do well with their business even though their parking lot is small they get pretty packed in there they go really good business the food is delicious
December 30, 2016 – I’ve only been here twice. Everything has been amazing. Twice cooked pork belly, orange chicken and garlic pork belly appetizer. I’m purposefully not finishing it so I have left overs.
October 12, 2016 – My husband and I have done a few different hot pot places, and this ranks up there! Definitely more modern and chic than hot pot international buffet in china town, but they don’t skimp on authentic options or quality. They offer a competitive price for their all you can eat option and we definitely weren’t disappointed. Top contender for our future hot pot adventures.
February 2017 – Have gotten take out Chinese here once and it was great! Looking forward to dining in and having some hot pot.
February 2017 – It’s great to have shabu shabu in Worcester. I always go for the spicy mala broth. My wife likes the herbal broth. I usually get a beef combo. The kids love cooking their food.
February 2017 – A great place to relax to delicious food. Always look forward to the friendly service and stylish ambience.
January 2017 – Best restaurant in New England. went during soft opening served by the head chef taught my friend and myself about the place. spent well over 100.00 for lunch didnt care. Because it was the time of my life.
December 2016 – Good food, and the all you can eat is a good deal! (But read the fine print at the bottom of the menu.)
January 2016 – Absolutely amazing. Best hot pot I’ve ever had. I usually get the Kim chi broth which is awesome. The meat is thin and cooks quickly.
February 2017 – I had heard very good things about Baba Sushi and we gave it a whirl twice.
On a busy Saturday night we were on time with a reservation, and seated immediately. Always nice when a restaurant can not only take a reservation, but can KEEP a reservation as well. No waiting. This is a simple expectation and one lost on many these days.
September 11, 2016 – Nice restaurant, clean, fresh food, good service. I love those sea foods and lamb !!! All you can eat. I definitely got my share !!!
September 4, 2016 – Been there several times since their opening. During the week all you can eat for under $25. All food is fresh and the selection is great. Even crab legs, Fun place and you are not rushed. You cook it at your pace. fun experience if you have never done Shabu Shabu. Much better than other places and cheaper.
May 15, 2016 – We were visiting our children in Leominister and they suggested this restaurant. We were pleasantly delighted. The food is so fresh and easy to prepare in the your chosen broth. Lots of good choices and certainly a great centerpiece. Our waitress seemed new but was pleasant and accommodating. We left there very full but knew we had eaten healthy. Definitely a place we would go back to next visit!
April 3, 2016 – We visited 2x while in Worcester. Did not have the pot as we wanted quick lunches. Best pad this and Lemon chicken I’ve had in years. Also had schezuan shrimp and hot and sour chicken on 2nd visit. Only complaint was that on visit 2 waitress got attitude when I asked her to explain a dish. Can’t win them all. I won’t deduct because the food was so good and our first waitress was a gem.
February 25, 2016 – The atmosphere is very chique! The food is intriguing! The drinks unique!
We started off with an exquisite wonton soup–very light and flavorful broth with firm and tender wontons. We followed with chicken pad thai and shrimp pad thai, huge portions that were way too much for even two people!!!! We also had something we had never heard of “bubble tea”. They put tapioca beads in the bottom of a sweet tea drink that is very sweet–too sweet for my tastes. My spouse and daughter got their smoothees and many kudos for these! The server was terrific and efficient. Food came quickly and was hot.
February 21, 2016 – I’ve had hot pot in Boston and this Hot Pot in Worcester is TONS better, way better. Our waitress was unbelievably helpful, attentive, knowledgeable and just a pleasant to be around. The owner happened to stop by and I joked with him and I can see why this restaurant is such a great hit, as he is very friendly and approachable. Our family (2 adults and 2 18 y/o’s) ordered the hot pot for 2 and that was plenty for all of us. We had the Vegetarian and Tomyum broths. Can’t wait to go back!!
